Stories from South Greenland - Nanortalik historier

2019, performative workshop

What does it mean to belong to a place? Stories from South Greenland - Nanortalik historier was a performative processual workshop about identity, self-representation, and storytelling.

The project was developed through a performative workshop with youth in Nanortalik, Greenland in July 2019. Through conversations, film screening, and performative workshops in storytelling developed by the youth. the project formed a space for reflections and discussions around cultural identity and self-representation in everyday life.

The project was made possible through collaboration with Foreningen Grønlandske Børn (DK), the youth club Alummiu in Nanortalik (GL), Kunsthall Trondheim (NO) and is sponsored by Foreningen Grønlandske Børn and Nordisk Kulturfond.
